Bought by present owner at Preston marina 7 years ago and sailed in Outer Hebrides every summer since.Boat is adapted to carrying out all sailing controls from cockpit by organisers at bottom of mast leading main halyard and single point reefing line over winches ,furling foresail lead and topping lift ,all onto cleats, with foresail sheets over seperate winches on to jam cleats.Lazy jacks fitted  and boom strut.
Sharing 25ft  boat this summer with local fisherman who wants to sail and 'trading up ' but retaining new 8hp Tohatsu 4 stroke outboard engine from Wombat which was probably oversized for this boat.The boat is now back at Preston marina.

Bought new from Westfields by the present owner Apr. 1967 together with its road trailer. As featured in KYOA magazine Oct 2007. The outboard engine was replaced by me in 1977 with an inboard Coventry Victor twin horizontal opposed four-stroke engine, 10 hp. with a reversible pitch propeller. Engine is mounted with its shaft in a skeg moulded by Westfield's and glassed into the well with stainless steel bolts. The engine is water cooled and the exhaust is discharged through a stainless silencer with a water-jacket, the water is then fed via a swan neck into the exhaust pipe mounted in the transom. Sails, roller reefed Genoa, main, spinnaker with pole etc. all in good serviceable condition.Folding boarding ladder mounted on the transom. Extended cockpit safety rails fitted with wind dodgers with boat name.

Simpson Lawrence Sea toilet recently rebuilt.
