Glasfor  was registered in 1967. Her first owner sold her in 1970 to Sir Goronwy Daniel, Principal of the University College of Wales, who replaced the engine with a larger (diesel) engine, and who explained in a letter to the present owner that ‘Glasfor’ is Welsh for ‘Blue Sea’. The boat was sold in 1976 to Henry Roberts, of Tarbert, Argyll. For the next seventeen years she was not sailed. In 1993 she was sold to the present owner. Since then she has been cruised extensively in the Scottish Highlands, in the Irish Sea and English Channel. She has never been raced. The yacht is fully equipped for short-handed or single-handed sailing.
Foredeck:  Capstan, 25lb plough anchor and chain; kedge anchor and chain; warps and fenders; lifelines; telescopic spinnaker pole.
Mast:  Mast steps; tri-white masthead light; deck light, (additional deck level navigation lights); vhf aerial; through mast roller reefing; halyard winch.

Cooker: Plastimo Neptune 2500 (2007) in gimbals with fiddle rails and pan holders: two rings and grill with grill pan; 4lb Camping Gas bottles (3); 40 gallon freshwater flexible freshwater tank with foot pump; sink with tap and saltwater tap/pump. Full size chart table (800 x 770 mm) with chart stowage under.
