basic specification - All data below taken from fact sheet produced December 1968.
hull, cabin top and interior furniture Moulded in GRP. Hull and cabin top joined with 1/4" (6mm) S/S bolts at 4" (100mm) centres with PVC fender all round.
keels Twin keels. Cast Iron 550lb. (250kg) each, bolted through steel plates moulded into the hull with 16 x 1/2" (12mm) S/S bolts per keel.
deck fittings Bronze, bolted through cabin top. Stem fitting, fore bollard and two fairleads forward, two mooring cleats on stern.
running rigging and fittings Pre-stretched terylene halliards, plaited terylene sheets, jib downhaul, kicking strap. Barton genoa slider, main sheet and jib sheet jam cleats. S/S mainsheet horse in bronze pillars.
spars Mast and boom by Sparlight. Roller reefing by Barton. Spinnaker track and eye.
mast support Steel beams moulded into the hull and cabin top connected by tubular steel pillars.
standing rigging S/S shrouds with talurit swaged ends. S/S or Superston rigging screws. S/S shroud plates.
sails Main and working jib in terylene.
main cabin Headroom 4'6" (1.37m). Berths 7' (2.1m) with stowage under. Galley with sink and stowage under. Chart table. Shelves round cabin sides.
separate toilet and hanging locker compartments with teak sliding doors. Bin shelf in hanging compartment.
fore cabin Headroom 4'5" (1.35m). Berths 6'2" (1.86m) with stowage under. Anchor chain locker with hawser pipe from deck. Rubber sealed hinged fore hatch.
windows Perspex set in non-oxidizing rubber.
ventilators In hanging locker and toilet compartments. Vented main drop hatch.
cockpit Self-draining with high bridge deck. Large lockers under cockpit seats. Glove lockers in cockpit sides.
engine compartment With sliding plate under hull and special tilting engine bracket which allows engine to be brought into operation in a few seconds without lifting. Designed to take Johnson 6 hp motor or similar type.
petrol tank stowage Vented and drained beside motor.
water tank stowage Two 5 gallon (22.7 litre) plastic cans in starboard cockpit locker, with pipe and galley pump.
steering S/S tiller with tufnol grip. S/S rudder shaft and glass fibre rudder.
standard colours Hull and interior furniture - white. Cabin top and deck - pale grey.
standard cruising equipment Fitted mattresses. Flush toilet fitted. 21lb. (9.5kg) Thames anchor. 15 fathoms (27m) 1/4" (6mm) chain. Cabin table. Plate warming shelf. Argyll gas stove with fiddle rail. Regulator, pipe and 4lb (1.8kg) Gaz cylinder. Ensign staff and socket. Curtain blocks and taut rods. Fitted plate rack with melaware crockery for four. 2 x 6 fathoms (11m) Ulstron warps. Two chubby fenders with spliced tails.
